All very good; but as the Head of a school, I am constantly preoccupied by the thought that we may not be getting either right. The ‘what’ that we provide through content and subject choices may not necessarily be the ‘what’ that our students need (or want). And the ‘how’ that leaders, teachers, parents, governing bodies and politicians all see as developing positive and responsible citizens is really not doing that at all.
